Road to Table

Road trips to Napa in brand new Cadillacs, dinner from a 3- Michelin starred Chef, wine curated from Napa’s own Turnbull Winery - who could ask for a better weekend getaway?

Cadillac and Goop, Gwyneth Paltrow’s modern lifestyle brand, partnered on March 3rd and 4th to create a once in a lifetime experience for their recent Road to Table event series.

While the event centered around amazing food and even better wine, part of the proceeds were donated to the Napa Valley Community Foundation, a non-profit which mobilizes resources and impacts local organizations year-round for those in need—focusing their efforts on the most relevant opportunities and challenges in Napa Valley and the greater wine country community.

Attendees started their journey with the delivery of a 2018 Cadillac CT6 Sedan or XT5 Crossover, fully outfitted with a Goop swag bag of snacks and giveaways. After the scenic road trip up to Napa Wine country, guests arrived at the Turnbull Wine Cellars in Oakville, for a backyard party hosted by event producer Stefanie Cove & Co.

Guests munched on a family-style dinner of buffalo milk mozzarella with crispy brussels sprouts, hiramasa crudo, endive with citrus, rigatoni with vegetable Bolognese - all provided by 3-Michelin starred Chef Christopher Kostow. Wine and good vibes, combined to make this a truly special night. Gwyneth Paltrow and a top industry winemaker event led a one of a kind winemaking making experience, allowing guests to blend different grape varietals!

Amongst the notable giveaways, guests were provided with Hunter Boots - to save their Gucci slip ons from the rain, and a beautiful wine gift set to commemorate the occasion. A specialty Turnbull wine was paired with custom engraved wine boxes, donated by Etching Expressions. Centered in Southern California, offering premium etching services, on a myriad of products, including custom packaging, glassware, and almost any national brand of wine or beer.

With the recent wildfire damage plaguing the California wine country, we feel that now is the time more than ever for members of the California Wine Industry to support each other. It brings us joy to work with such esteemed organizations, in the hopes of creating a lasting change for the local community.
